Appearance of dark circles under the eyes can make you look old and dull. Dark circles can be caused by stress, not getting enough sleep, fluid retention and your lifestyle behaviors.

However dark circles can be dealt with and all you require are some natural remedies. Don’t enter a state of shock when dealing with dark eyes as they will disappear after a while.

Here are some ways that you can use to get rid of dark circles:

Coconut Oil

Coconut Oil holds massive benefits and is good for the health as well as physical appearance. If you are having trouble with appearance of dark circles, it is recommended that you massage virgin coconut oil under the eyes before going to bed. When you wake up in the morning it is recommended that you rinse with warm water. Coconut oil has Vitamin E and certain antioxidants that can help repair damaged skin cells. Coconut oil can also be used to reduce swelling.

Cucumber

Cucumbers are effective in getting rid of dark eye circles. All you are required to do is soak cucumbers in lemon juice for at least 3 to 5 minutes and leave it in the refrigerator. Next, place it on your eyes and leave on for 10-15 minutes. Be careful and don’t let lemon juice get in the eyes.

Cold Milk

Milk has lactic acid that can reduce darkness along with puffiness around the eye area. All you are required to do is soak the cotton balls in milk and place under the eyes for a few minutes.

Tomato

Tomatoes can help lighten the skin and have bleaching properties that can get rid of the dark circles. For best results, it is recommended that you mix 1 teaspoon of tomato juice and half of teaspoon in lemon juice. Apply the mixture under the eyes and let it rest for 10minutes. Rinse the face with water and try this remedy two times a week.

Cold Tea bags

As weird as it may sound, cold tea bags can help get rid of dark circles. Place two tea bags in hot water and leave for 3-5minutes. After that place, the tea bags in a container and put them in the refrigerator for 20 minutes. Next take out the tea bags and squeeze the leftover liquid. Place them on your eyes and leave them on of 15-30 minutes.

Lemon Juice

You can either soak cucumbers in lemon juice or apply alone on dark circles. Get a cotton ball and soak it in lemon juice. Apply around the eyes and leave it on for 10minutes after which you are required to rinse it. This can be done once a day or for a few weeks.

Rose Water

Rose water is rejuvenating for the skin and can help get rid of dark circles. Soak a cotton ball in rose water and apply it over the dark circle area. Leave it on for 15 minutes and for effective results practice the remedy twice a week.
